Genesis G70 Maintenance Schedule

Genesis G70 Maintenance Schedule

The team at Genesis of Dublin is dedicated to making sure drivers in Columbus, Dublin, and Powell, Ohio, continue to get the most out of their cars for years to come. It’s out of this dedication that we’ve put together the following maintenance schedule. If you drive a Genesis G70, this schedule will help you find out which procedures are necessary to keep your car going strong. Read on to learn more.

6,000 Miles

6,000 MilesThe first big maintenance session should occur around the time your G70 reaches 6,000 miles on the odometer. This is when an oil change should take place to make sure the engine continues to remain clean while operating at a high level. Here are some of the other components that need to be checked out at this time:

  • Car battery
  • Front and rear brake discs, pads, and calipers
  • Brake lines, hoses, and connections
  • Suspension mounting bolts
  • Driveshaft and boots

12,000 Miles

12,000 MilesAt the 12,000-mile mark, all the items mentioned above need to be attended to once again. On top of that, the following areas should be inspected:

  • Fuel filter
  • Fuel tank air filter
  • Vapor hose, fuel filler cap, and fuel tank
  • Parking brake

In particular, it’s important to examine the fuel filter to make sure it’s clean. If it becomes too dirty, it can slow down your car and cause damage to the emission system.

18,000 Miles

18,000 MilesOnce your Genesis G70 has reached 18,000 miles, it will be time for another oil change. An examination of the following elements will take place as well:

  • Driveshaft and boots
  • Exhaust pipe and muffler
  • Steering gear rack, linkage, and boots
  • Propeller shaft
  • Upper arm ball joint and lower arm ball joint

24,000 Miles

24,000 MilesThe next routine maintenance visit should be scheduled for around 24,000 miles. At this point, it will be necessary to have the car’s fuel lines, hoses, and connections checked to make sure all components are undamaged and free of any leaks. Here are other items that will be inspected:

  • Air conditioner refrigerant and compressor
  • Parking brake
  • Vapor hose, fuel filler cap, and fuel tank
  • Fuel filter
  • Fuel tank air filter

An oil change also needs to be performed at the 24,000-mile mark.

30,000 Miles

30,000 MilesTake a look below at the list of items that should be addressed once your Genesis G70 has traveled 30,000 miles:

  • Front brake discs, pads, and calipers
  • Brake lines, hoses, and connections
  • Suspension mounting bolts
  • Driveshaft and boots
  • Propeller shaft
  • Exhaust pipe and muffler
